Hi everyone....I'm new to this blogging world so you will have to bear with me. I think I may have failed creative writing in school, so hopefully I don't bore you all to tears.
I have started this blog because I recently signed up to do a half marathon in June. I will be raising money for childrens cancer research. I have never done anything like this before. I'm not a runner and have never done any kind of fund raising before this. So I hope I don't offend people when I ask/beg for their hard earned cash. I know in this economy every penny counts. I do appreciate any dollar amount donated.

I will be starting my actual training on Monday January 25th. I signed up to do the run/walk, but my actual goal is to run the whole way.
I will try to post 2 or 3 times a week to update everyone with my progress.
